• Former Vice President Hamid Ansari presented the 25th Rajiv Sadbhavana Award for the year 2020-21 to Banasthali Vidyapeeth, Rajasthan on 20 August 2023.
• Under this award, Rs.10 lakh cash and a certificate of appreciation were given to Siddharth Shastri of that organization. Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Congress President Mallikarjuna Kharge participated in this programme.

• Industrialist Ratan Tata has been awarded the 'Udyog Ratna' award by the Government of Maharashtra. This award is being presented for the first time after its introduction by the state government.
• Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar met Ratan Tata at his residence in Mumbai and presented the award. Shawl, certificate of appreciation and memento from Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC).

International Young Eco Hero Award-2023 : అంతర్జాతీయ యంగ్‌ ఎకో హీరో అవార్డ్‌-2023కు ఎంపికైన 17 మందిలో భారతీయ బాలలు ఎంత మంది ఉన్నారు?

• ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా పర్యావరణ పరిరక్షణకు పాటుపడుతున్న బాలలకు ప్రదానం చేసే అంతర్జాతీయ యంగ్‌ ఎకో హీరో అవార్డ్‌-2023కు ఎంపికైన 17 మందిలో అయిదుగురు భారతీయ బాలలు ఉన్నారు.

• ఈ పోటీల్లో ప్రథమ స్థానంలో నిలిచిన ఐహా దీక్షిత్‌ నాలుగేళ్ల వయసు నుంచే మొక్కలు నాటుతోంది. ఆమె కొందరు వాలంటీర్లతో కలిసి మేరఠ్‌ నగరంలో 20,000 మొక్కలు నాటింది. ప్రజలు విరాళంగా ఇచ్చిన మొక్కలతో ఒక నిధిని ఏర్పాటుచేసి ఉచితంగా పంచిపెడుతోంది.

• 13-16 ఏళ్ల విభాగంలో రెండో స్థానం పొందిన నిర్వాణ్‌ సోమానీ ఇతరులు వాడి వదిలేసిన డెనిమ్‌ జీన్స్‌ దుస్తులను సేకరించి, మార్పుచేర్పులు చేసి పేదలకు పంచుతున్నాడు. అలా 6000 జీన్స్‌ను పంచారు. 800 జీన్స్‌ను దుప్పట్లుగా మార్చి ఇచ్చాడు. తద్వారా ఫ్యాషన్‌ దుస్తులు చెల్లాచెదురుగా పడి కాలుష్యం సృష్టించకుండా జాగ్రత్త పడుతున్నాడు.

• Five Indian children are among the 17 shortlisted for the International Young Eco Hero Award-2023, which is awarded to children who are involved in environmental protection around the world.
• To this extent, Aiha Dixit (Meerut), Manya Harsha (Bangalore), Nirvan Somani (Delhi), Mannath Kaur (Delhi) and Karnav Rastogi (Mumbai) were awarded. American charity organization 'Action for Nature' gives these awards annually.
• Aiha Dixit, who won first place in this competition, has been planting saplings since she was four years old. She along with some volunteers planted 20,000 saplings in Meerut city. A fund is established with plants donated by people and distributed freely.
• Manya Harsha, who won the second position in the 8-12 years category, is raising environmental awareness with her books, blog and YouTube channel 'The Little Environmentalist'. Planted 3,500 saplings and distributed 3000 seed balls.
• Nirvan Somani, who won the second position in the 13-16 age category, collects discarded denim jeans, alters them and distributes them to the poor. So 6000 jeans were distributed. He converted 800 jeans into blankets. Thus, he is careful not to create pollution by scattering fashionable clothes.
• Mannath Kaur, who won the third position in the 13-16 years category, has undertaken pollution-free waste water treatment and drinking water supply programs.
• 13-year-old Karnav Rastogi, who has bagged an honorable mention in this year's list of winners, is helping prevent climate change by eradicating plastic waste.

• Andhra Pradesh Law and Order Additional DG, Senior IPS Officer Dr. Shankhabrata Bagchi was awarded the President's Police Service Medal (President's Police Medal).

34 medals for Telangana Police

• On the occasion of Independence Day, Union Home Ministry has announced medals to 954 police personnel who have shown merit in the country. In this Telangana police got 34 medals. These include two President's Uttam Seva Pataks, 22 Shaurya Pataks (Police Medal for Gallantry) and 10 Seva Pataks (Medal for Meritorious Service). 12 out of 34 medals went to the Greyhounds unit which fights left-wing extremism.
• In-charge of Greyhounds and Octopus Divisions (Additional DG, Operations) Vijaykumar and Sangareddy SP Ramanakumar were selected for the President's Uttam Seva Pataks.
• SP Bhaskaran and DSP K. Purushotham Reddy of the Special Intelligence Branch (SCIB), which deals with Left-wing extremism, have been selected for the Shauryapataka. Fireman Srinivas will receive the Fire Service Medal.

• సైబర్‌ నేరాల దర్యాప్తులో వినూత్న ఆవిష్కరణల్ని ప్రోత్సహించేందుకు జాతీయ నేర గణాంక సంస్థ (ఎన్‌సీఆర్‌బీ) నాలుగేళ్లుగా క్రైమ్‌ అండ్‌ క్రిమినల్‌ ట్రాకింగ్‌ నెట్‌వర్క్‌ అండ్‌ సిస్టమ్స్‌ (సీసీటీఎన్‌ఎస్‌) హ్యాకథాన్‌, సైబర్‌ ఛాలెంజ్‌ పోటీలు నిర్వహిస్తోంది. 
• జులై చివరి వారంలో నిర్వహించిన 4వ విడత పోటీల్లో ‘ఈ-రక్షా’ అవార్డు విభాగంలో ‘క్రైమ్‌ ఓఎస్‌’కు తొలిస్థానం దక్కినట్లు ఎన్‌సీఆర్‌బీ ప్రకటించి పురస్కారం అందించింది.

ఏమిటీ క్రైమ్‌ ఓఎస్‌?

• సైబర్‌ నేరాల దర్యాప్తులో వేగం పెంచేందుకు వీలుగా సైబరాబాద్‌ పోలీసులు ‘క్రైమ్‌ ఓఎస్‌’కు రూపకల్పన చేశారు. 
• ఉదాహరణకు ఏదైనా సైబర్‌ నేరంపై ఫిర్యాదు నమోదైతే.. దాన్ని ఏ మోడస్‌ ఆపరెండీ(ఎంవో) కింద విడగొట్టాలి? నిందితులు ఉపయోగించిన ఫోన్‌ నంబరు? బ్యాంకు ఖాతాలను స్తంభింపజేసేందుకు ఏం చేయాలి? ఆ తర్వాత దర్యాప్తు ఎలా చేపట్టాలనే అంశాలపై ఈ ఓఎస్‌ సూచనలిస్తుంది. 
• ఫిర్యాదు వివరాలను సాఫ్ట్‌వేర్‌లో నమోదు చేయగానే నిపుణుల అవసరం లేకుండానే కృత్రిమ మేధ సాయంతో అంతా చకాచకా జరుగుతుంది. 
• నేరగాళ్ల మూలాలను కనుగొనేందుకు ఉపయోగపడేలా దీన్ని రూపొందించారు. దర్యాప్తు అధికారులతోపాటు రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా ప్రతి ఠాణాలో ఉన్న సైబర్‌ వారియర్లకు ఈ అప్లికేషన్‌ ఉపకరిస్తున్నట్లు అధికారులు తెలిపారు. గతేడాది దీన్ని ప్రయోగాత్మకంగా ప్రారంభించారు.

తగ్గిన దర్యాప్తు సమయం..

• సైబర్‌ నేరం నమోదైతే దర్యాప్తు చేసేందుకు సగటున 83 రోజులు (2 వేల గంటలు) పడుతుందని, క్రైమ్‌ ఓఎస్‌ అందుబాటులోకి వచ్చాక.. ఇది 250 గంటలకు తగ్గిందని అధికారులు చెప్పారు.

The Crime OSA received the e-Raksha award belongs to which state?

• The 'Crime Operating System' designed by the Cyberabad Police has won a national award.
• The National Crime Statistics Agency (NCRB) has been organizing the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS) Hackathon and Cyber Challenge competitions for four years to encourage innovation in the investigation of cyber crimes.
• In the 4th round of competitions held in the last week of July, NCRB announced that 'Crime OS' won the first place in the 'E-Raksha' award category and presented the award.

What is Crime OS?

• Cyberabad Police has designed 'Crime OS' to speed up the investigation of cyber crimes. For example if any cyber crime complaint is registered..under which Modus Operandi(MO) should it be broken down? The phone number used by the accused? What to do to freeze bank accounts? After that, this OS will give instructions on how to carry out the investigation. Once the details of the complaint are entered in the software, everything is done automatically with the help of artificial intelligence without the need of experts. It is designed to be useful in tracing the origins of criminals. Officials said that this application will help the cyber warriors in every police station across the state along with the investigating officers. Last year it was started experimentally.

Reduced investigation time.

• Officials said that if a cyber crime is registered, it takes an average of 83 days (2 thousand hours) to investigate, but after the availability of Crime OS, this has reduced to 250 hours. It was explained that the speed of investigation has increased since this OS indicated what to do next after the complaint was registered. Plans are being prepared to use this technology in all states soon. In the second week of June, the presentation given by the cybercrime officers of Cyberabad on the performance of Crime OS was widely appreciated in the conference held in Delhi under the auspices of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

• 11 మందికి శౌర్యచక్ర ప్రదానం చేస్తారు. వీరిలో ఐదుగురికి (మేజర్‌ వికాస్‌ భంభు, మేజర్‌ ముస్తఫా బొహరా, హవల్దార్‌ వివేక్‌ సింగ్‌ తోమర్‌, రైఫిల్‌మేన్‌ కుల్‌భూషణ్‌ మంత, మరొకరికి) మరణానంతరం వీటిని అందిస్తారు. 
• స్వాతంత్య్ర దినోత్సవాల సందర్భంగా సైనిక దళాలు, కేంద్ర సాయుధ పోలీసు బలగాల సిబ్బందికి ఈ పురస్కారాలను ప్రకటించారు. 
• 2022 అక్టోబరు 21న ఆర్మీ పైలట్‌- మేజర్‌ భంభు, కోపైలట్‌ మేజర్‌ బొహరా.. అరుణాచల్‌ప్రదేశ్‌ సరిహద్దులకు రుద్రా హెలికాప్టర్‌లో వెళ్లి నిఘా సంబంధిత విధులు పూర్తిచేసుకుని తిరిగివస్తున్నప్పుడు అనూహ్యంగా ప్రమాదంలో పడ్డారు. వేగంగా కిందకి పడిపోయే పరిస్థితి వచ్చినా ఆ ఒత్తిడిని తట్టుకుంటూ హెలికాప్టర్‌ను నియంత్రణలోకి తెచ్చుకునే ప్రయత్నాలను వారు కొనసాగించారు. అది జనావాసాలపై, ఆయుధ గిడ్డంగిపై పడిపోకుండా అత్యంత ఒడుపుగా వ్యవహరించి, ప్రజల ప్రాణాలు కాపాడే ప్రయత్నంలో వారు అమరులయ్యారు. సహచరుల ప్రాణాలు కాపాడేందుకు తన ప్రాణాలు బలిచ్చినందుకు వివేక్‌ సింగ్‌ తోమర్‌కు ఈ పురస్కారం ప్రకటించారు. సైన్యానికి సేవలందించిన మధు అనే జాగిలానికీ మరణానంతరం ప్రత్యేక ప్రస్తావనతో గుర్తింపు లభించనుంది.

76 bravery awards

• President Draupadi Murmu approved awarding of awards to 76 people of the three forces who have displayed unparalleled bravery and courage in the line of duty.
• Four people (Dilip Kumar Das, Rajkumar Yadav, Bablu Rabha and Sambha Roy) will be awarded Keerthichakra awards posthumously. All of them have served in CRPF and have done their best.
• 11 people will be awarded Shaurya Chakra. Five of them (Major Vikas Bhambhu, Major Mustafa Bohara, Havaldar Vivek Singh Tomar, Rifleman Kulbhushan Mantha and another) will be awarded posthumously.
• These awards were announced to the personnel of the armed forces and the Central Armed Police Forces on the occasion of Independence Day.
• On October 21, 2022, Army pilot-Major Bhambhu and co-pilot Major Bohara met with an unexpected accident while returning to the borders of Arunachal Pradesh in a Rudra helicopter after completing surveillance duties. They continued their efforts to bring the helicopter under control, bearing the pressure despite the rapid descent. They were martyred trying to save people's lives by acting with utmost care so that it did not fall on the population and on the weapons depot. The award was announced to Vivek Singh Tomar for sacrificing his life to save the lives of his comrades. Madhu, a soldier who served the army, will also be recognized posthumously with a special mention.

• 2023 ఆగస్టు 11న బెంగళూరు ముద్దనహళ్లిలోని ఎస్‌ఎస్‌యూహెచ్‌ఈలో జరిగిన ఇండియన్‌ స్టార్టప్‌ ఫెస్టివల్‌లో సద్గురు మధుసూదన్‌సాయి, ఇండియన్‌ స్టార్టప్‌ ఫౌండేషన్‌ (ఐఎస్‌ఎఫ్‌) వ్యవస్థాపకులు జేఏ చౌదరి చేతుల మీదుగా నాగేశ్వరరెడ్డి ఈ పురస్కారం అందుకున్నారు. 
• వైద్యరంగంలో పలు నూతన పద్ధతులు ప్రవేశపెట్టి గ్రామీణ ప్రజలకు ఎన్నో సేవలు అందించినందుకు డాక్టర్‌ నాగేశ్వరరెడ్డికి ఈ పురస్కారం అందజేసినట్లు ఎస్‌ఎస్‌ఎస్‌యూహెచ్‌ఈ తెలిపింది. 

హృద్రోగ నిపుణులు డాక్టర్‌ ఆంజనేయులుకు..

• ప్రముఖ హృద్రోగ వైద్య నిపుణులు డాక్టర్‌ ఎ.వి.ఆంజనేయులుకు ఇండియన్‌ అకాడమీ ఆఫ్‌ ఎకోకార్డియోగ్రఫీ(ఐఏఈ) జీవన సాఫల్య పురస్కారం ప్రకటించింది. డాక్టర్‌ ఆంజనేయులు గుండె వైద్యంలో గత 30 ఏళ్లుగా చేస్తున్న సేవలకు ఈ పురస్కారం అందిస్తున్నట్లు ఐఏఈ తెలిపింది. 
• సాధారణంగా గుండెనాళాల్లో పూడికలు ఉన్నాయని అనుమానం వస్తే.. యాంజియోగ్రామ్‌ చేస్తుంటారు. దీనివల్ల రోగులపై కొంత రేడియేషన్‌ ప్రభావం ఉంటుంది. దీనికి భిన్నంగా డాక్టర్‌ ఆంజనేయులు ఎకోకార్డియోగ్రఫీతోనే పూడికలు గుర్తించే కొత్త విధానాన్ని ఆవిష్కరించారు. 
• సులభంగా, రోగికి ఎలాంటి అసౌకర్యం లేకుండా 2డీ ఎకో పరీక్ష ద్వారానే గుండె నాళాల్లో పూడికలు గుర్తించవచ్చని నిరూపించారు. ఇప్పటివరకూ ఆయన లక్ష పైచిలుకు 2డీ ఎకో పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా డాక్టర్‌ ఆంజనేయులు మాట్లాడుతూ.. యువతరం వైద్యులు కొత్త ఆవిష్కరణల వైపు అడుగులు వేయాలని సూచించారు.

Lifetime Achievement Award to Dr. Nageswara Reddy

• Dr. Nageswara Reddy, Chairman, Asian Institute of Gastroenterology (AIG), has been conferred with the Lifetime Achievement Award by Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence (SSSUHE), Bangalore.
• Nageswara Reddy received this award from the hands of Sadhguru Madhusudansai and JA Chaudhary, the founders of Indian Startup Foundation (ISF) at the Indian Startup Festival held at SSUHE, Muddanahalli, Bangalore on 11 August 2023.
• SSSUHE said that this award was given to Dr. Nageswara Reddy for introducing many new methods in the field of medicine and providing many services to the rural people.

Cardiologist Dr. Anjaneyulu..

• The Indian Academy of Echocardiography (IAE) has announced Life Achievement Award to Dr. A.V. Anjaneyulu, a leading cardiologist. IAE said that this award is given to Dr. Anjaneyulu  for his services in Cardiology for the last 30 years.
• Generally, if there is suspicion of clots in the heart vessels, an angiogram is done. This results in some radiation exposure to patients. In contrast, Dr. Anjaneyu has invented a new method of detecting clots with echocardiography.
• It has been demonstrated that plaques in heart vessels can be easily detected by 2D echo examination without any discomfort to the patient. So far he has conducted 2D echo tests for lakhs of patients. Speaking on this occasion, Dr. Anjaneyulu suggested that young doctors should take steps towards new discoveries.

జాతీయ ఉత్తమ ఉపాధ్యాయ అవార్డులు అర్హతలపై సవరణలు

జాతీయ ఉత్తమ ఉపాధ్యాయ అవార్డు అర్హతల్లో కేంద్ర విద్యాశాఖ సవరణలు చేసింది. కనీసం పదేళ్ల సర్వీసు ఉన్న రెగ్యులర్‌ ఉపాధ్యాయులు, ప్రధానోపాధ్యాయులే ఇందుకు అర్హులని పేర్కొంది. 

ఈ అవార్డుల కోసం ఒక్కో రాష్ట్రం నుంచి రావాల్సిన నామినేషన్ల పైనా పరిమితి విధించింది. వీటి కోసం రాష్ట్రాల నుంచి 126, కేంద్రపాలిత ప్రాంతాల నుంచి 10. వివిధ స్వతంత్ర విద్యా వ్యవస్థల నుంచి 18 కలిపి గరిష్ఠంగా 154 నామినేషన్లు మాత్రమే పంపాలని పేర్కొంది. 

అందులో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌, తెలంగాణల నుంచి గరిష్టంగా 6 చొప్పున నామినేషన్లు రావాలని నిర్దేశించింది. ఏటా ఇచ్చే అవార్డుల గరిష్ట సంఖ్యను 17 నుంచి 50కి పెంచింది. అందులో 2 అవార్డులను దివ్యాంగ టీచర్లకు రిజర్వ్‌ చేసింది. 

మోహన్‌బాబుకు నవరస నట తిలకం బిరుదు

ప్రముఖ నటుడు మోహన్‌బాబు 40 వసంతాల సినీ ప్రస్థానాన్ని పురస్కరించుకుని టి.సుబ్బరామిరెడ్డి లలిత కళాపరిషత్‌ ఆధ్వర్యంలో  2016 సెప్టెంబర్‌ 17న విశాఖపట్నంలోని ఇందిరా ప్రియదర్శిని స్టేడియంలో ఘన సన్మానం జరిగింది. ఈ సందర్భంగా మోహన్‌బాబుకు టీఎస్‌ఆర్‌ లలిత కళా పరిషత్‌ తరపున టి.సుబ్బరామిరెడ్డి నవరస నట తిలకం బిరుదును ప్రదానం చేశారు. రాజ్యసభ డిప్యూటీ ఛైర్మన్‌ పి.జె.కురియన్‌ ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి ముఖ్య అతిథిగా హాజరయ్యారు. 

సూర్యనారాయణమూర్తికి దీన్‌దయాళ్‌ జోనల్‌ అవార్డు

పండిట్‌ దీన్‌దయాళ్‌ ఉపాధ్యాయ జన్మదినం సందర్భంగా ఏటా జాతీయ, జోనల్‌ స్థాయిల్లో ఇచ్చే ఉత్తమ రైతు పురస్కారానికి తూర్పుగోదావరి జిల్లాకు చెందిన  సూర్యనారాయణమూర్తి ఎంపికయ్యారు. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌, తమిళనాడు, పుదుచ్చేరి జోన్‌ నుంచి ఈయనకు ఈ అరుదైన గౌరవం దక్కింది. దేశంలో జాతీయ స్థాయిలో ఒక రైతుకు, 11 జోన్ల నుంచి ఒక్కొక్కరికి ఈ అవార్డు అందజేస్తారు. జాతీయస్థాయి అవార్డు పొందినవారికి రూ.లక్ష, జోనల్‌ స్థాయి అవార్డు పొందినవారికి రూ.50 వేలు అందిస్తారు. దీన్‌దయాళ్‌ జాతీయ అవార్డుకు నజఫ్‌గడ్‌కు చెందిన మహిళా రైతు కృష్ణయాదవ్‌ ఎంపికయ్యారు.

ఆస్కార్‌ ఉత్తమ విదేశీ చిత్రం బరిలో విసారణై

ఆస్కార్‌ బరిలో ఉత్తమ విదేశీ చిత్రం పురస్కారం కోసం మన దేశం నుంచి అధికారిక ఎంట్రీగా తమిళ చిత్రం విసారణైను భారత చలన చిత్ర సమాఖ్య ఎంపిక చేసింది. వెట్రిమారన్‌ దర్శకత్వం వహించిన ఈ చిత్రాన్ని హీరో ధనుష్‌ నిర్మించారు.  భారతీయ భాషల్లో రూపొందిన 29 చిత్రాల్ని పరిశీలించిన మండలి విసారణైను ఏకగ్రీవంగా ఎంపిక చేసింది. కమిటీ చూసిన 29 సినిమాల్లో తెలుగు నుంచి వెళ్లిన కంచె, రుద్రమదేవి కూడా ఉన్నాయి. ఆస్కార్‌ న్యాయ నిర్ణాయక మండలి అధ్యక్షుడు కేతన్‌ మెహతా.

మేఘనా పంత్‌కు ఎఫ్‌ఓఎన్‌ పురస్కారం

కుమొన్‌ లిటరరీ ఫెస్టివల్‌ ఎఫ్‌ఓఎన్‌ (ఫెలోస్‌ ఆఫ్‌ నేచర్‌) సౌత్‌ ఏషియా స్టోరీ పురస్కారానికి ముంబై రచయిత్రి మేఘనా పంత్‌ ఎంపికయ్యారు. పీపుల్‌ ఆఫ్‌ ది సన్‌ అనే కథకు గాను మేఘనకు ఈ గౌరవం దక్కింది. ఫ్రెంచ్‌ ఇనిస్టిట్యూట్‌ ఆఫ్‌ ఇండియా, వైల్డ్‌ లైఫ్‌ ట్రస్ట్‌ ఆఫ్‌ ఇండియా భాగస్వామ్యంతో కుమొన్‌ లిటరరీ ఫెస్టివల్‌ నిర్వాహకులు ఈ అవార్డును అందచేస్తున్నారు. ప్రకృతి సంబంధిత అంశాల్లో సాహిత్యాన్ని ప్రోత్సహించేందుకు ఏర్పాటు చేసిన ఈ పురస్కారం కింద గ్రహీతకు రూ.లక్ష నగదు అందజేస్తారు.

ఆర్‌బీఐకి ఖేల్‌ ప్రోత్సాహన్‌ పురస్కారం

రిజర్వ్‌ బ్యాంక్‌ ఆఫ్‌ ఇండియా(ఆర్బీఐ)కు ఖేల్‌ ప్రోత్సాహన్‌ 2016 పురస్కారం లభించింది. దీన్ని 2016 ఆగస్టు 20న రాష్ట్రపతి ప్రణబ్‌ ముఖర్జీ చేతుల మీదుగా ఆర్‌బీఐ డిప్యూటీ గవర్నర్‌ ముంద్రా స్వీకరించారు. క్రీడాకారులకు ఉద్యోగావకాశాలు, ఇతర సంక్షేమ కార్యక్రమాలు కల్పిస్తున్నందుకుగానూ ఆర్‌బీఐకి ఈ అవార్డు లభించింది.

మోస్ట్‌ ప్రామిసింగ్‌ స్టేట్‌ తెలంగాణ

2016 సం॥నికి గాను తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రం మోస్ట్‌ ప్రామిసింగ్‌ స్టేట్‌ అవార్డును దక్కించుకుంది. ఏటా సీఎన్‌బీసీ టీవీ-18 నిర్వహించే ఇండియా బిజినెస్‌ లీడర్స్‌ అవార్డ్స్‌లో భాగంగా ఈ అవార్డు వచ్చింది. అభివృద్ధిలోనే కాకుండా దేశ సమగ్రత, నిబద్ధతకు అనుగుణంగా వ్యాపార దృక్పథం, మార్కెటింగ్‌ నైపుణ్యాులు  ప్రదర్శించిన విజేతకు 11 ఏళ్లుగా సీఎన్‌బీసీ గ్రూప్‌ ఈ అవార్డు అందిస్తోంది. తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం చేపట్టిన వినూత్నమైన పారదర్శక విధానాలను పరిగణనలోకి తీసుకొని ఈ అవార్డుకు ఎంపిక చేశారు.

ప్రజా వాగ్గేయకారుడు గోరటి వెంకన్నకు జాషువా కవితా పురస్కారాన్ని ప్రకటించారు. ప్రజానాట్యమండలి, గుర్రం జాషువా విజ్ఞాన కేంద్రం ఆధ్వర్యంలో సెప్టెంబరు 27న గుంటూరులో జరిగే జాషువా 121వ జయంత్యుత్సవ సభలో ఈ అవార్డును ప్రదానం చేయనున్నట్లు అవార్డు కమిటీ వెల్లడిరచింది.

అబ్రహాం వర్గీస్‌ను అమెరికా జాతీయ మానవీయ పతకం

భారత అమెరికన్‌ వైద్యుడు, రచయిత అబ్రహాం వర్గీస్‌ను జాతీయ మానవీయ పతకానికి ఎంపిక చేసినట్లు అమెరికా అధ్యక్ష భవనం వ్కెట్‌హౌస్‌ ప్రకటించింది.      

దినేష్‌ భరాదియాకు మార్కోనీ సొసైటీ పాల్‌ బారన్‌ యంగ్‌ స్కార్‌ అవార్డు

రేడియో తరంగాలపై చేపట్టిన పరశోధనకుగాను అమెరికాలోని భారత సంతతి పరిశోధకుడు దినేష్‌ భరాదియా (29)కు మార్కోనీ సొసైటీ పాల్‌ బారన్‌ యంగ్‌ స్కార్‌ అవార్డు లభించింది. సుమారు 150 సం॥లుగా వెంటాడిన చిక్కు ప్రశ్నకు ఆయన పరిశోధనలో సమాధానం లభించింది. ‘రేడియోలు ఏ పౌనఃపున్యంలో అయితే తరంగాలను తీసుకుంటాయో అదే పౌనఃపున్యంతో వాటిని ప్రసారం చేయలేవు. మధ్యలో ఎదురయ్యే అవరోధాలు దీనికి కారణం’ అనే భావనకు ఆయన తప్పని నిరూపించారు. దీంతో ఇంటర్నెట్‌ ఆఫ్‌ థింగ్స్‌ సాంకేతికతను మరిన్ని మార్గాల్లో ఉపయోగించుకునేందుకు మార్గం సుగమమైంది. ఐఐటీ ఖరగ్‌పూర్‌లో చదువుకున్న దినేష్‌ మస్సాచుసెట్స్‌ సాంకేతిక వర్సిటీలో శాస్త్రవేత్తగా కొనసాగుతున్నారు.

DJSIలో డాక్టర్‌ రెడ్డీస్‌ ల్యాబొరేటరీస్‌ నమోదు
