e-Raksha award : ఈ-రక్షా పురస్కారం అందుకున్న క్రైమ్‌ ఓఎస్‌ ఏ రాష్ట్రానికి చెందినది?

 

• సైబరాబాద్‌ పోలీసులు రూపొందించిన ‘క్రైమ్‌ ఆపరేటింగ్‌ సిస్టమ్‌’కు జాతీయ పురస్కారం దక్కింది. 
• సైబర్‌ నేరాల దర్యాప్తులో వినూత్న ఆవిష్కరణల్ని ప్రోత్సహించేందుకు జాతీయ నేర గణాంక సంస్థ (ఎన్‌సీఆర్‌బీ) నాలుగేళ్లుగా క్రైమ్‌ అండ్‌ క్రిమినల్‌ ట్రాకింగ్‌ నెట్‌వర్క్‌ అండ్‌ సిస్టమ్స్‌ (సీసీటీఎన్‌ఎస్‌) హ్యాకథాన్‌, సైబర్‌ ఛాలెంజ్‌ పోటీలు నిర్వహిస్తోంది. 
• జులై చివరి వారంలో నిర్వహించిన 4వ విడత పోటీల్లో ‘ఈ-రక్షా’ అవార్డు విభాగంలో ‘క్రైమ్‌ ఓఎస్‌’కు తొలిస్థానం దక్కినట్లు ఎన్‌సీఆర్‌బీ ప్రకటించి పురస్కారం అందించింది.

ఏమిటీ క్రైమ్‌ ఓఎస్‌?

• సైబర్‌ నేరాల దర్యాప్తులో వేగం పెంచేందుకు వీలుగా సైబరాబాద్‌ పోలీసులు ‘క్రైమ్‌ ఓఎస్‌’కు రూపకల్పన చేశారు. 
• ఉదాహరణకు ఏదైనా సైబర్‌ నేరంపై ఫిర్యాదు నమోదైతే.. దాన్ని ఏ మోడస్‌ ఆపరెండీ(ఎంవో) కింద విడగొట్టాలి? నిందితులు ఉపయోగించిన ఫోన్‌ నంబరు? బ్యాంకు ఖాతాలను స్తంభింపజేసేందుకు ఏం చేయాలి? ఆ తర్వాత దర్యాప్తు ఎలా చేపట్టాలనే అంశాలపై ఈ ఓఎస్‌ సూచనలిస్తుంది. 
• ఫిర్యాదు వివరాలను సాఫ్ట్‌వేర్‌లో నమోదు చేయగానే నిపుణుల అవసరం లేకుండానే కృత్రిమ మేధ సాయంతో అంతా చకాచకా జరుగుతుంది. 
• నేరగాళ్ల మూలాలను కనుగొనేందుకు ఉపయోగపడేలా దీన్ని రూపొందించారు. దర్యాప్తు అధికారులతోపాటు రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా ప్రతి ఠాణాలో ఉన్న సైబర్‌ వారియర్లకు ఈ అప్లికేషన్‌ ఉపకరిస్తున్నట్లు అధికారులు తెలిపారు. గతేడాది దీన్ని ప్రయోగాత్మకంగా ప్రారంభించారు.

తగ్గిన దర్యాప్తు సమయం..

• సైబర్‌ నేరం నమోదైతే దర్యాప్తు చేసేందుకు సగటున 83 రోజులు (2 వేల గంటలు) పడుతుందని, క్రైమ్‌ ఓఎస్‌ అందుబాటులోకి వచ్చాక.. ఇది 250 గంటలకు తగ్గిందని అధికారులు చెప్పారు. 
• ఫిర్యాదు నమోదు చేసిన దగ్గర్నుంచి తదుపరి ఏం చేయాలనే విషయాన్ని ఈ ఓఎస్‌ సూచించడంతో దర్యాప్తులో వేగం పెరిగినట్లు వివరించారు. త్వరలో ఈ సాంకేతికతను అన్ని రాష్ట్రాల్లో వినియోగించేందుకు ప్రణాళిక సిద్ధమవుతోంది. జూన్‌ రెండో వారంలో దిల్లీలో కేంద్ర హోంశాఖ ఆధ్వర్యంలో జరిగిన సదస్సులో క్రైమ్‌ ఓఎస్‌ పనితీరుపై సైబరాబాద్‌ సైబర్‌క్రైమ్‌ అధికారులు ఇచ్చిన ప్రదర్శనకు పెద్దఎత్తున ప్రశంసలు దక్కాయి.

The Crime OSA received the e-Raksha award belongs to which state?

• The 'Crime Operating System' designed by the Cyberabad Police has won a national award.
• The National Crime Statistics Agency (NCRB) has been organizing the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS) Hackathon and Cyber Challenge competitions for four years to encourage innovation in the investigation of cyber crimes.
• In the 4th round of competitions held in the last week of July, NCRB announced that 'Crime OS' won the first place in the 'E-Raksha' award category and presented the award.

What is Crime OS?

• Cyberabad Police has designed 'Crime OS' to speed up the investigation of cyber crimes. For example if any cyber crime complaint is registered..under which Modus Operandi(MO) should it be broken down? The phone number used by the accused? What to do to freeze bank accounts? After that, this OS will give instructions on how to carry out the investigation. Once the details of the complaint are entered in the software, everything is done automatically with the help of artificial intelligence without the need of experts. It is designed to be useful in tracing the origins of criminals. Officials said that this application will help the cyber warriors in every police station across the state along with the investigating officers. Last year it was started experimentally.

Reduced investigation time.

• Officials said that if a cyber crime is registered, it takes an average of 83 days (2 thousand hours) to investigate, but after the availability of Crime OS, this has reduced to 250 hours. It was explained that the speed of investigation has increased since this OS indicated what to do next after the complaint was registered. Plans are being prepared to use this technology in all states soon. In the second week of June, the presentation given by the cybercrime officers of Cyberabad on the performance of Crime OS was widely appreciated in the conference held in Delhi under the auspices of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
