Dr. Nageswara Reddy : డా॥ నాగేశ్వరరెడ్డికి జీవన సాఫల్య పురస్కారం

 

• ఏషియన్‌ ఇన్‌స్టిట్యూట్‌ ఆఫ్‌ గ్యాస్ట్రోఎంటరాలజీ (ఏఐజీ) ఛైర్మన్‌ డాక్టర్‌ నాగేశ్వరరెడ్డికి బెంగళూరులోని శ్రీ సత్యసాయి యూనివర్సిటీ ఫర్‌ హ్యూమన్‌ ఎక్స్‌లెన్స్‌ (ఎస్‌ఎస్‌ఎస్‌యూహెచ్‌ఈ) జీవన సాఫల్య పురస్కారం అందించింది. 
• 2023 ఆగస్టు 11న బెంగళూరు ముద్దనహళ్లిలోని ఎస్‌ఎస్‌యూహెచ్‌ఈలో జరిగిన ఇండియన్‌ స్టార్టప్‌ ఫెస్టివల్‌లో సద్గురు మధుసూదన్‌సాయి, ఇండియన్‌ స్టార్టప్‌ ఫౌండేషన్‌ (ఐఎస్‌ఎఫ్‌) వ్యవస్థాపకులు జేఏ చౌదరి చేతుల మీదుగా నాగేశ్వరరెడ్డి ఈ పురస్కారం అందుకున్నారు. 
• వైద్యరంగంలో పలు నూతన పద్ధతులు ప్రవేశపెట్టి గ్రామీణ ప్రజలకు ఎన్నో సేవలు అందించినందుకు డాక్టర్‌ నాగేశ్వరరెడ్డికి ఈ పురస్కారం అందజేసినట్లు ఎస్‌ఎస్‌ఎస్‌యూహెచ్‌ఈ తెలిపింది. 

హృద్రోగ నిపుణులు డాక్టర్‌ ఆంజనేయులుకు..

• ప్రముఖ హృద్రోగ వైద్య నిపుణులు డాక్టర్‌ ఎ.వి.ఆంజనేయులుకు ఇండియన్‌ అకాడమీ ఆఫ్‌ ఎకోకార్డియోగ్రఫీ(ఐఏఈ) జీవన సాఫల్య పురస్కారం ప్రకటించింది. డాక్టర్‌ ఆంజనేయులు గుండె వైద్యంలో గత 30 ఏళ్లుగా చేస్తున్న సేవలకు ఈ పురస్కారం అందిస్తున్నట్లు ఐఏఈ తెలిపింది. 
• సాధారణంగా గుండెనాళాల్లో పూడికలు ఉన్నాయని అనుమానం వస్తే.. యాంజియోగ్రామ్‌ చేస్తుంటారు. దీనివల్ల రోగులపై కొంత రేడియేషన్‌ ప్రభావం ఉంటుంది. దీనికి భిన్నంగా డాక్టర్‌ ఆంజనేయులు ఎకోకార్డియోగ్రఫీతోనే పూడికలు గుర్తించే కొత్త విధానాన్ని ఆవిష్కరించారు. 
• సులభంగా, రోగికి ఎలాంటి అసౌకర్యం లేకుండా 2డీ ఎకో పరీక్ష ద్వారానే గుండె నాళాల్లో పూడికలు గుర్తించవచ్చని నిరూపించారు. ఇప్పటివరకూ ఆయన లక్ష పైచిలుకు 2డీ ఎకో పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా డాక్టర్‌ ఆంజనేయులు మాట్లాడుతూ.. యువతరం వైద్యులు కొత్త ఆవిష్కరణల వైపు అడుగులు వేయాలని సూచించారు.

Lifetime Achievement Award to Dr. Nageswara Reddy

• Dr. Nageswara Reddy, Chairman, Asian Institute of Gastroenterology (AIG), has been conferred with the Lifetime Achievement Award by Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence (SSSUHE), Bangalore.
• Nageswara Reddy received this award from the hands of Sadhguru Madhusudansai and JA Chaudhary, the founders of Indian Startup Foundation (ISF) at the Indian Startup Festival held at SSUHE, Muddanahalli, Bangalore on 11 August 2023.
• SSSUHE said that this award was given to Dr. Nageswara Reddy for introducing many new methods in the field of medicine and providing many services to the rural people.

Cardiologist Dr. Anjaneyulu..

• The Indian Academy of Echocardiography (IAE) has announced Life Achievement Award to Dr. A.V. Anjaneyulu, a leading cardiologist. IAE said that this award is given to Dr. Anjaneyulu  for his services in Cardiology for the last 30 years.
• Generally, if there is suspicion of clots in the heart vessels, an angiogram is done. This results in some radiation exposure to patients. In contrast, Dr. Anjaneyu has invented a new method of detecting clots with echocardiography.
• It has been demonstrated that plaques in heart vessels can be easily detected by 2D echo examination without any discomfort to the patient. So far he has conducted 2D echo tests for lakhs of patients. Speaking on this occasion, Dr. Anjaneyulu suggested that young doctors should take steps towards new discoveries.
