Digital India : డిజిటల్‌ ఇండియా పథకం ఎప్పుడు ప్రారంభమైంది?

 

• డిజిటల్‌ ఇండియా ప్రాజెక్టును పొడిగించే ప్రతిపాదనకు కేంద్ర క్యాబినెట్‌ ఆమోదముద్ర వేసింది.
• ఇందు కోసం 2021-22 నుంచి 2025-26 మధ్య కాలానికి రూ. 14,903 కోట్లు కేటాయించినట్లు కేంద్ర ఎలక్ట్రానిక్స్‌, ఐటీ శాఖ మంత్రి అశ్విని వైష్ణవ్‌ తెలిపారు. దీని కింద 6.25 లక్షల మంది ఐటీ నిపుణులకు కొత్త నైపుణ్యాల్లోను, 2.64 లక్షల మందికి ఇన్ఫర్మేషన్‌ సెక్యూరిటీలోనూ శిక్షణ ఇవ్వనున్నట్లు పేర్కొన్నారు.
• పొడిగించిన డిజిటల్‌ ఇండియా ప్రాజెక్టులో భాగంగా మరో తొమ్మిది సూపర్‌ కంప్యూటర్లను నేషనల్‌ సూపర్‌కంప్యూటింగ్‌ మిషన్‌కు (ఎన్‌సీఎం) జోడిరచనున్నట్లు మంత్రి చెప్పారు. ఇప్పటికే ఎన్‌సీఎం కింద 18 సూపర్‌ కంప్యూటర్స్‌ ఉన్నట్లు వివరించారు. డిజిటల్‌ ఇండియా పథకం 2015లో ప్రారంభమైనప్పుడు రూ. 4,500 కోట్లతో 2022 నాటికి ఎన్‌సీఎం కింద 70 సూపర్‌కంప్యూటర్స్‌ను నెలకొల్పే ప్రతిపాదనకు కేంద్రం ఆమోదం తెలిపింది. వాటికి అదనంగా మరో తొమ్మిది సూపర్‌కంప్యూటర్లకు తాజాగా ఆమోదముద్ర వేసిందని మంత్రి చెప్పారు.  

When was the Digital India scheme started?

• The Union Cabinet has approved the proposal to extend the Digital India project.
• For this, between 2021-22 and 2025-26, Rs. Union Electronics and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that 14,903 crores have been allocated. Under this, 6.25 lakh IT professionals will be trained in new skills and 2.64 lakh in information security.
• The minister said that nine more supercomputers will be added to the National Supercomputing Mission (NCM) as part of the extended Digital India project. It was explained that there are already 18 supercomputers under NCM. When the Digital India scheme started in 2015, Rs. The Center has approved a proposal to set up 70 supercomputers under NCM by 2022 at a cost of Rs 4,500 crore. In addition to them, nine more supercomputers have been recently approved, the minister said.
