- సుస్థిర జీవనాన్ని ప్రోత్సహించే ఉద్దేశంతో ప్రధానమంత్రి నరేంద్రమోదీ, ఐరాస ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి ఆంటోనియో గుటెరస్‌లు 2022లో ప్రారంభించిన మిషన్‌ లైఫ్‌ (పర్యావరణం కోసం జీవనశైలి)పై అమెరికాలోని ఐరాస ప్రధాన కార్యాలయంలో భారత్‌ ప్రత్యేక ప్రదర్శన ఏర్పాటు చేసింది. 2023 ఆగస్టు 16, 17 తేదీల్లో ఈ ప్రదర్శనను నిర్వహించారు. వివిధ దేశాల దౌత్యవేత్తలు, సమితి ప్రతినిధులు హాజరయ్యారు.
- ఈ సందర్భంగా ఐరాసలో భారత శాశ్వత ప్రతినిధి రుచిరా కాంబోజ్‌ మాట్లాడుతూ.. మిషన్‌ లైఫ్‌ ప్రయాణానికి సంబంధించి మేం ఉమ్మడిగా ఓ స్ఫూర్తిమంతమైన ప్రయాణాన్ని ప్రారంభించామని పేర్కొన్నారు. ‘‘మిషన్‌ లైఫ్‌ అనేది కేవలం ప్రభుత్వ కార్యక్రమం కాదు. ఇది ప్రతి ఒక్కరితో మొదలయ్యే సమష్టి నిబద్ధత. మన రోజువారి జీవితాల్లో చోటుచేసుకునే చిన్నచిన్న మార్పులతో పర్యావరణంపై చూపే అద్భుత మార్పును తేవడమే మిషన్‌ లైఫ్‌. పర్యావరణ అనుకూల విధానాలతో మనం రోజువారీ వ్యవహారాలను మార్చుకోవడమే కాదు.. మన భూగ్రహానికి సంబంధించి కొత్త విధిని రూపొందించడం’’ అని ఆమె వివరించారు.

- India organized a special exhibition at the United Nations headquarters in the United States on Mission Life (Lifestyle for the Environment) launched in 2022 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres to promote sustainable living. This exhibition was held on August 16 and 17, 2023. Diplomats of various countries and representatives of the Samiti were present.
- On this occasion, India's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ruchira Kamboj said, "We have started an inspiring journey together with regard to the journey of mission life." Mission Life is not just a government program. It is a collective commitment that starts with everyone. Mission Life is to bring about a miraculous change in the environment with small changes that take place in our daily lives. "We are not only changing our day-to-day affairs with eco-friendly policies.. we are creating a new destiny for our planet," she explained.
