LIC : ఎల్‌ఐసీ ఎండీగా ఎవరు నియమితులయ్యారు?

 

• లైఫ్‌ ఇన్సూరెన్స్‌ కార్పొరేషన్‌ ఆఫ్‌ ఇండియా (ఎల్‌ఐసీ) మేనేజింగ్‌ డైరెక్టరుగా ఆర్‌.దొరైస్వామిని ప్రభుత్వం 2023 ఆగస్టు 14న నియమించింది. 
• ప్రస్తుతం ముంబయిలోని ఎల్‌ఐసీ కేంద్ర కార్యాలయంలో ఎగ్జిక్యూటివ్‌ డైరెక్టరుగా దొరైస్వామి ఉన్నారు. ఈ ఏడాది సెప్టెంబరు 1 లేదా ఆ తరవాత బాధ్యతలు చేపట్టినప్పటి నుంచి దొరైస్వామి నియామకం అమల్లోకి వస్తుంది. 
• దొరైస్వామి పదవీ విరమణ తేదీ అయిన 2026 ఆగస్టు 31 లేదా, తదుపరి ఆదేశాలు వచ్చేవరకు ఆయన ఎల్‌ఐసీ ఎండీ పదవిలో ఉంటారు.

Who has been appointed as LIC MD?

• The government has appointed R. Doraiswamy as the Managing Director of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) on 14 August 2023.
• Currently, Doraiswamy is the Executive Director at LIC's head office in Mumbai. Doraiswamy's appointment will take effect on or after September 1 this year.
• Doraiswamy will hold the post of LIC MD on August 31, 2026, the date of his retirement or until further orders.
