- Indian young wrestler Antim Fungal created history by becoming the first Indian woman wrestler to achieve this feat by retaining the title in the World Under-20 tournament. In the final of the 53 kg category, she defeated Maria Efrimova (Ukraine) 4-0.
- The final Kundu (65 kg) won the silver. She lost 2-9 to Iniko Elkes (Jordan).
- Reena won bronze in 57 kg category. She defeated Omirbek (Kazakhstan) 9-4. Arju (68 kg) and Harshita (72 kg) also won bronze medals.
