- మీ జీ మెయిల్‌ అకౌంట్‌ను ఈ మధ్య అసలే వాడటం లేదా? దాని వంక కన్నెత్తి చూసి రెండేళ్లయిందా? అయితే అది ఇక శాశ్వతంగా డిలీట్‌ అయిపోతుంది. ఈ మేరకు కొత్త పాలసీని 2023 డిసెంబర్‌ 1 నుంచి గూగుల్‌ అందుబాటులోకి తెస్తోంది.
- దీనికి సంబంధించిన వివరాలన్నీ తెలియజేస్తూ గూగుల్‌ తన యూజర్లందరికీ మెయిల్స్‌ పంపింది. తాను అందించే అన్ని సర్వీసులు, ప్రొడక్టులకూ ఇది వర్తిస్తుందని స్పష్టం చేసింది. ‘మా యూజర్లు అకౌంట్‌ను వాడటం మానేసినా వారి డేటా పూర్తిగా గోప్యంగా, సురక్షితంగా ఉండేలా చూడటమే మా లక్ష్యం. అకౌంట్‌ డిలీషన్‌ అందులో భాగమే’’ అని గూగుల్‌ ప్రకటించింది.

- గూగుల్‌ అకౌంట్‌ను రెండేళ్ల పాటు సైన్‌ ఇన్‌ చేయకపోతే, వాడకపోతే.
- ఒకసారి డిలీట్‌ చేసిన అకౌంట్‌ తాలూకు జీ మెయిల్‌ అడ్రస్‌ను ఇంకెవరికీ కేటాయించబోరు.
- సేఫ్టీ, సెక్యూరిటీ కారణాల రీత్యా తన పాలసీని ఇలా అప్డేట్‌ చేస్తున్నట్టు గూగుల్‌ తెలిపింది.
- అయితే అకౌంట్‌ను డిలీట్‌ చేసే ముందు గూగుల్‌ పలుమార్లు రిమైండర్‌ మెయిల్స్‌ పంపుతుంది. అవి సదరు అకౌంట్‌తోపాటు యూజర్‌ తాలూకు రికవరీ అకౌంట్‌కు కూడా వెళ్తాయి.
- ఏదైనా చర్య తీసుకోవడానికి కనీసం 8 నెలల ముందు నుంచే ఈ మెయిల్స్‌ రావడం మొదలవుతుంది.

- థర్డ్‌ పార్టీ యాప్‌, సర్వీస్‌లను గూగుల్‌ ద్వారా సైన్‌ ఇన్‌ చేసినా మీ గూగుల్‌ ఖాతాకు ఎలాంటి ఢోకా ఉండదు.

- గూగుల్‌ అకౌంట్‌ డిలీషన్‌ పాలసీకి కొన్ని మినహాయింపులు ఉన్నాయి. వాటి ప్రకారం రెండేళ్ల పాటు వాడకంలో లేని అకౌంట్లను డిలీట్‌ చేసే కొత్త విధానం ఈ కింది వాటికి వర్తించదు
- యూట్యూబ్‌ చానల్స్‌, ఖాతాకు, కామెంట్లున్న గూగుల్‌ అకౌంట్‌
- డబ్బులతో కూడిన గిఫ్ట్‌ కార్డులున్న జీ మెయిల్‌ అకౌంట్‌
- పబ్లిషిడ్‌ అప్లికేషన్‌ ఉన్న అకౌంట్‌
