Wahab Riaz : వాహబ్‌ రియాజ్‌ వీడ్కోలు

• పాకిస్థాన్‌ ఎడమచేతి  వాటం ఫాస్ట్‌ బౌలర్‌ వాహబ్‌ రియాజ్‌ అంతర్జాతీయ క్రికెట్‌కు రిటైర్మెంట్‌ ప్రకటించాడు. ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా టీ20 లీగ్‌లపై ఎక్కువ దృష్టిసారించడం కోసం అంతర్జాతీయ క్రికెట్‌కు వీడ్కోలు పలుకుతున్నట్లు 2023 ఆగస్టు 16న వెల్లడిరచాడు. 
• 2008 నుంచి 2020 వరకు వాహబ్‌ 27 టెస్టులు, 91 వన్డేలు, 36 టీ20ల్లో పాక్‌ తరఫున బరిలో దిగాడు. మూడు ఫార్మాట్లలో వరుసగా 83, 120, 34 వికెట్లు తీశాడు. టెస్టు క్రికెట్లో అరంగేట్ర మ్యాచ్‌లోనే అయిదు వికెట్లు తీసిన తొమ్మిదో పాక్‌ బౌలర్‌గా వాహబ్‌ ఘనత సాధించాడు. 2011 ప్రపంచకప్‌లో పాక్‌.. భారత్‌ చేతిలో ఓడిన సెమీస్‌లో వాహబ్‌ అయిదు వికెట్లు పడగొట్టాడు.

Farewell to Wahab Riaz

• Pakistan's left-arm fast bowler Wahab Riaz has announced his retirement from international cricket. He announced on 16th August 2023 that he will bid farewell to international cricket to focus more on T20 leagues around the world.
• From 2008 to 2020, Wahab played 27 Tests, 91 ODIs and 36 T20Is for Pakistan. He took 83, 120 and 34 wickets respectively in three formats. Wahab became the ninth Pakistani bowler to take five wickets in his debut match in Test cricket. In the 2011 World Cup, Wahab took five wickets in the semis when Pakistan lost to India.
